Nikki Watson - Senior Associate

Nikki is a qualified trainer and assessor, facilitator, neuroscience coach and an accredited DISC, Motivators and Emotional Intelligence Profiler. With well over three years in the delivery of both bespoke workshops and longer-term leadership development programs, Nikki has worked closely with potential and existing leaders to build their capability and capacity. This has included delivery of both non-qualifications based through to diploma level certification programs on leadership and Management (BSB 51918) in partnership with Leadership Management Australia. 

More recently as the owner of Beakyn Advisory and Coaching Services Nikki has developed and delivered bespoke training to deliver tailored workshops targeting the establishment and planning of goals (business and personal), team building, improved communication & relationship building, time management strategies, building emotional intelligence and more.  This has been complemented with the use of profiling tools and coaching to best support the needs of the individual/client involved. 

Nikki’s clients include Airbus Group, De Jonge Read, Queensland Health, Daiso and Pinnacle Safety and Training, Stenhouse Lifting Equipment. Villa World and Surfstitch to name a few.

  • Program management of the Water Transformation Program involving over 26 discrete projects and project managers, impacting on processes, systems, customer interactions and over 400 staff across the State.

  • Successful delivery of the Rewards Based Tariff Trial – one of the largest trials run in Australia to date (with over 4000 active participants) and spanning two organisations as well as regionally disparate locations and addressing sensitive privacy issues for customers of both organisations.

  • Application and strategic leadership of modified Agile methodology across various Departmental units.

  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation on nationally significant agendas including water rights and Murray Darling Basin arrangements.

  • Project Management of Various Catchment Management Plans directly impacting landholders, Councils, Businesses and other interests ahead of schedule and to budget.

  • Management of complex Projects with cost implications in excess of $20M.

  • Overview and Quality Assurance of project delivery for catchment management across the State – providing advisory support and briefing executive management on progress and management of risks and issues.

  • Representation of the State in National Tribunals and legal actions with cost implications of $100Million +.

  • Successful application of Target Operating Model methodology for change, benefits realisation, PRINCE2 and Agile project methodologies in delivering projects on time and to budget.
